A group of local businessmen have come up with an innovative way of helping each other through the tough economic times.
After previously being one man businesses, they have come together to form a series of companies under the "online" umbrella.
Online Electrical Services was started by electrician Jamie Vernon. He was joined by Vinnie Lax of owen plastering and plumbing, who became Online plastering and plumbing.
- Tony Brian, know as Tony the Tiler became Online Tiling And Flooring and Adam Hughes started Online Aerial Services.
And because the business has been doing so well, Matt Saxby has recently joined Online Electricals as an apprentice.
"we though getting together under one name would help us as times were getting a bit tough," said Jamie.
"We all knew each other anyway, and had been passing jobs onto each other, so it seemed like a great idea to make it more formal."
"We all changed our names in April and it's already making a big difference for us."
"It's worked out really well for us because as well as each offering our own individual services just like we always have, we can now work together to do other bigger jobs like kitchens and bathrooms."
And customers are really pleased with what we are doing for them.
